ProMaster Version 7 has just been released, and as always, it contains a number of new usability and productivity enhancements, these include:
Simplified GST Mixed Supply Calculations - entering the actual tax amount will automatically split the transaction into taxable and non-taxable posting lines!
Report Writer Enhancements - now even more data and information can be reported.
'Down for Maintenance' Button - allows administrators to restrict user access when required.
Document Management - a new on-line forms tool
User Restriction - allows you to limit individual users' expense types
Whilst the new version contains a number of visible enhancements, a significant effort has gone into changes that end-users will never actually see!
The workflow engine for ProMaster controls all transaction movements throughout the system - from 'Waiting Approval', right through to when transactions are 'Posted'. In the last few years, the large increase in both our client base and in general transaction numbers led us to completely overhaul how the system stores and tracks workflow in ProMaster. The primary objectives being an application speed increase and Database size decrease.
Initial findings in upgraded Version 7 instances are that the Database size decrease is more than 20%! Similarly, the speed of the application is reported to have increased in system testing.
