ProMaster Version 7.1 Service Pack Release

By Michael Boldiston

ProMaster version 7.1 is due to be released in the coming weeks, and whilst it won’t contain a raft of new features, it will contain development for some substantial optional modules, namely:

Travel Planning Module (Release 2)
It has been a few years since the original Travel Planning Module was released, and we are very excited about the new version.  There have been some major changes in the module including:

  • Travel Diary
  • Customisable Travel Compliance Questions
  • Smarter reconciliation post-trip
  • Automated Supplier booking requisitions

Custom Expense Claim Data Windows
Allows you to define custom windows for extra data to be added to Claims.  This is particularly useful if a specific form is required for the claiming of an expense, such as a declaration – it can now be housed in ProMaster!

Petty Cash Enhancements
Updated the Cash Balance Functionality to allow the option of entering a Cheque Amount that will credit the Cash Balance Amount. This is used in conjunction with the Cash Balance Button and allows the management of Petty Cash where it is replenished via cheque, rather than by card.  This enhancement will also allow a user with only a claim account to have a Cash Balance and acquit this.

AMEX BTA Account Transaction Distribution
Changes have been made to both the AMEX import activity and the HR import activity to allow transactions incurred for multiple users on a single card to be distributed to those users for reconciliation.  The system will even create any user in ProMaster for whom there is no existing record.

Breakdowns by Employee ID
A configuration switch has been added to allow distribution of a breakdown to be allocated based on employee id rather than participant type.  This will allow allocation of costs to each individual employee rather than a generic participant type, further enhancing compliance relating to FBT.
